Hello Classmates! 

Please join us to celebrate our 40th Class reunion in conjunction with the Panama Canal Society Annual Reunion to be held July 2-6, 2008 at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida! We plan to have a hospitality suite available Friday & Saturday, July 4 and 5th, for classmates to congregate, visit, and get re-acquainted. Please let Lee Harwell Grant leegrant@bellsouth.net or Ginger Wertz Zornes rvzornes@q.com know if you plan to attend or are thinking about attending so we can plan accordingly. We will try to keep our class reunion costs as low as possible. The cost of the hospitality suites alone are $300 - $400 per day, depending on what size we need. Once we get an idea of how many will be attending we can decide on what size hospitality suite we will need. This information is really necessary to plan, so please contact us soon! If you plan to reserve a room at the reduced PCS rate you must be a member of the Panama Canal Society. You can join by going to www.pancanalsociety.org and scroll down to "On-Line Services" to join or renew, then go to reunion registration to reserve your hotel rooms, golf, etc. For those of you who enjoyed the wonderful reunion in Panama, please re-join us for more good times. For those who were not able to attend, we hope you have enjoyed the pictures and stories on our website and the snapfish link and that you will come make new memories in July. However, there are always the two PCS Reunion dances that we attend on Friday and Saturday nights as a group!

Whew, what a relief.  40th in Orlando. Glad it is in Orlando instead of Tampa. Tampa was so much fun in '88, I prefer to just hold those memories and not go back to Tampa.  Remember rooms were $78.00 including tax?  And, for $4.50 you could go out to the causeway to Clearwater and have smoked mullet, cheese and a beer served by a waiterss dressed in black fishnet stockings.  Almost forgot, she was close to seventy trying to look seventeen.  Then there was all that local entertainment just up the road at Busch Gardens where for $12.50 entry you could get free beer and watch the cockatiel show.  Then just two more exits up the road, and this was worth the drive, there was one of those big green interstate signs with that paint developed by 3M that read " Bearass".  Now I know the locals pronounced it "Bar-ass", but I still pronounced it "Bear-rass".  Hopefully we'll have a good showing and I know it will be a good time.  Maybe we can tour the Baptist headquarters since it costs half a thou to go to dizzyworld in ORLANDO.
